How I work

I am a person-centred therapist. This means that I align myself with the approach developed by Carl Rogers. Rogers believed that as the client you know what is most important in your life.

From this perspective, I tend not to offer advice or guidance, my intention is to be alongside you as a warm, non-judgemental presence, offering a relationship and safe space where you can explore your experiences.

I will try to gently reflect my understanding of your experiences which may at times be challenging to hear. I hope through this exploration you will become more accepting, understanding and trusting of yourself, meaning that you are able to navigate your life and relationships in a way that is more beneficial to you.
